Hello!
I was looking to use admin tools on a jomsocial website. With admin tools installed, it is impossible for an admin to be able to do much at all on jomsocial, even commenting causes a security exception.
I've been looking through the akeeba site trying to work out what I am doing wrong. Is there a recommended list of settings which will allow jomsocial to work correctly?
Joomla, js, and admin tools are all the latest versions.
Thanks!

It would help to know what kind of errors are being recorded in your Security Log. Please copy and paste them here.

Hi there. I've had to completely uninstall admintools so the admins could continue to access the site.
Upon replying to comment on jomsocial a security exception on the back end.
From the email
Reason: Frontend Edit Admin User

dlb
You need to go to Web Application Firewall, Configure WAF, on the Joomla! Feature Hardening Options tab, set "Disable creating / editing backend users from the frontend" to No. You are updating the user from the front end and this is preventing it.

Ahh thanks! I'll give that a try!
Also new registrations give the following error:
Fatal error: Call to a member function get () on Boolean in
components/com_community/controllers/register.php on like 897

Admin tools seems to cause a fair few issues with jomsocial - is there a recommended list of options or even a template?

Please note that the error you are receiving comes from JomSocial, not Admin Tools. This seems to be a bug in their code. This cannot be caused by Admin Tools since we do not alter the code of other extensions, of course! Please ask JomSocial for support about this issue.
