I have geo blocking assigned to the Russian Federation, which I did in hopes that it would block any IP from that country. However, the site is still receiving admin query string security exceptions.

I read post #22403, which was helpful, but I wanted to know whether I should expect the security exceptions for the Russian Federation to stop.

Thank you.

GeoIP blocking may slow down or even stop an automated script but it is trivial for a human to bypass that protection. They simply use a compromised computer or proxy server from an allowed country.

The Secret URL Parameter or Administrator Password Protection are effective means of stopping these attacks. You will still see the attempts in your security logs.

The bottom line is you can't stop them from trying, you can only stop them from succeeding.
