Hi There,
After I installed Admin Tools on one for my sites, I experienced a major decrease in pageviews in my google analytics simultaneously. I have AT installed on 3 other sites and did not experience this issue.

I just wanted to see what could be the possible reason for this, if this is common, and/if I need to worry about it? I am using the HTAccess, WAF and Geo blocking features.

This is not a mild decrease, averages went from over 400 to about 60 pageviews a day.

Could it be all bots? Nefarious connections? Just seemed odd for a decrease that big.

Thanks for any insight you could provide on where I could search for answers on this.

Hello,

Admin Tools has a very minimal impact for regular users, we're talking about few milliseconds; so Google should not detect any changes.
To be on the safe side, you should login inside your Webmaster Tools account and review any crawl error reported. If you see a spike on 403 error, that could give us some details on what's been blocked.

As a final note: there's an high chance that attackers won't be listed inside your Google Analytics report. Google Analytics uses javascript to load and track visitor, so they have to use a browser in order to execute it correctly. Attackers send out "raw" HTTP requests, without using any real browser, so they won't trigger the Analytics code.
