I assume you are talking about the username and password protecting the administrator directory. That's different than the Master Password (what you were looking at). In fact, that username and password is enforced by your web server (Apache), not Admin Tools.
You should be able to reset it by deleting the .htaccess and .htpasswd files in your administrator directory. Please do not touch the .htaccess file in your site's root, it's something different and removing it would break navigation on your site.
If you do not see these files in your FTP client (e.g. FileZilla) or your hosting control panel's file manager please make sure that you have selected the option to see hidden files. All files whose name starts with a dot are hidden in Linux and other similar operating systems - basically on every operating system except Windows.
