I just need to know if its "save" to use your admin Tools in addition to RSFireWall?

e.g. i wan't to manually set up admin tools to use some of its features and tools like the htaccess generator.

will having both extensions installed and activated be a problem?

Hello,

usually it's very safe to run two security products in parallel, because they can conflict each other and it will only slow down your site (since both need to run security checks). We strongly suggest to use only one of them.
