 Hi there.

I just added a SuperUser to a dev site and got an email that began"

"We would like to notify you that we detected the suspicious addition of one or more Super User accounts to your site, xxx. These new Super User accounts do not seem to have been created through the regular means, i.e. Joomla's “Users” page. Therefore they have been blocked. The new Super User accounts detected and blocked are..."

Is this an AT issue, or a core one?

Strangely, I did create the user through the user manager and they weren't blocked.

Apologies if thsi isn't AT!

Best wishes,

Dave.

Hello,

usually that means some external component tried to create a Super User without using Joomla default interface.
Admin Tools produces a more detailed log file, inside Joomla logs directory. Can you please take a look at it? You should be able to see what was the original request that produces such security exception.

There's nothing (literally) in the logs file. Looking in /administrator/logs/

I'll try creating another SU and see what happens.
