#27807 Update from Admin tools pro 4.1.3 to 4.2.0 killed site. URL navigates but all pages are blank.

 Hi

Site was fine until I updated Admin Tools pro from 4.1.3 to 4.2.0 .

I then went to view pther updates and all went blank. I can navigate to the front end with new browser but while it loads the screen page is blank. A view of the page source shows it is blank, no code.

I have same tools on another site. Can I copy a directory-folder to revert?

Joomla! seems to have forgotten to copy some of the updated files when installing the update. It is a bug in Joomla! that dates back to Joomla! 1.5.5. Nobody has fixed it and we are unfortunately not allowed (on pain of being unlisted from the Joomla! Extensions Directory, actually) to provide our own installer to prevent our clients from being bitten by Joomla's bugs. Let's work around that issue.
  • Extract the ZIP file of Akeeba Backup / Admin Tools / Akeeba Ticket System.
  • Find the lib_fof30.zip file inside it.
  • Extract the lib_fof30.zip.
  • Copy all the files from the fof folder into your site's libraries/fof30 folder. WARNING! DO NOT copy the files into your site's fof folder.

After that you can log back into your site's backend. Then please try installing the latest version of Akeeba Backup / Admin Tools / Akeeba Ticket System again, without uninstalling it before.

Thanks, That did allow me access to the site again.

Since it will not allow me to update again, I uploaded the ZIP to the tmp directory and from (extensions-manage-install) I did a "install from folder".

It immediately did the blank screen again. I redid your temp fix and can see it again anyway.

Ideas ?

Went again to: (extensions-manage-install) I did a "install from folder".
Installed again and went well this time well.
