I was attempting to update admin tools from 4.0.2 to 4.1.3 (I believe that was the version I selected ). Now I receive an error on the site and admin: Call to undefined method FOF30\Platform\Joomla\Platform::getSessionVar() in ./plugins/system/admintools/feature/customblock.php on line 17


Your help is greatly appreciated!!

This looks like a problem with the update of the FOF library. (There are two of them, fof is the Joomla! core library, fof30 is the Akeeba library.) Please download the FOF 3.1.0 package from our Downloads page and install it as you would any Joomla! extension. This library is included with Admin Tools, but the Joomla! installer failed to update it completely. That should fix the problem.

Thanks for the quick reply. However, I am unable to use the admin panel due to the error. What is the "manual" procedure to apply the fof30 library?

My apologies, I missed that. You can disable Admin Tools via FTP or with your host's file manager with the instructions here: https://www.akeebabackup.com/documentation/troubleshooter/atwafissues.html. Then you will be able to log in and fix the issue. Don't forget to re-enable Admin Tools when you're finished.
