I added SSL to my site to enable HTTP/2 and also redirected all http access to https.
Access to my site was disabled, IP address blocked (message "You are a spammer, hacker or an otherwise bad person."). This after trying to access the backend.
I had to unlock myself and disable the automatic https connection.
How can I allow https access ?
thanks
Didier.

Unfortunately, clearing the IP block also cleared the Security Exceptions Log and the reason for the block. Please re-enable https, and try to log in. If you get locked out, don't clear your IP, check the Log for the reason you were blocked.

You would normally have to change the https URL in .htaccess Maker when you convert from http to https, but this problem is coming from the Web Application Firewall.

Thanks for quick response.
The problem does not repeat. I very probably entered a wrong password a few times due to the browser not remembering my password because it was the first time I connected via https.
Also very strange: I have a few sites, all using the same IP number, and all sites were blocked because of this one block!
Thank a lot.
Didier.

The password would explain the lockout. If it is a one time deal, nothing further is required.

The lockouts should be independent on each site. The group lockout is a feature that has been requested, but it can't be implemented due to security between the sites' databases. It is theoretically possible to export the block list from one site and import it into another using a script, but that is not something that Admin Tools can do on its own. I can't explain why you would get multiple blocks.
