Hello. Clean install of Joomla 3.6.5 and then Admintools, with no other extensions installed.

Admintools installed, but when I access through the Components menu I get this:

Outdated PHP version 5.3.29-pl0-gentoo detected

And Admintools does not run.

On my server from the command line I run: php --version

Which returns:

PHP 5.6.29-pl0-gentoo (cli) (built: Jan 27 2017 12:56:58)
Copyright (c) 1997-2016 The PHP Group
Zend Engine v2.6.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2016 Zend Technologies
with Zend OPcache v7.0.6-dev, Copyright (c) 1999-2016, by Zend Technologies

How can I get Admintools to run?

What does Joomla! say about the PHP version in Help? I suspect that you're setting the PHP version in your .htaccess file and that's why you're getting different answers in different places.

That explains it. I will have to contact the server administrator and see if there is a fix via htaccess. Thanks.
