 Hello,

this is feauture proposal.

After being target of flood attack there are tons of records in exceptions log, and tons of banned IPs. As it was attack from thusands of computers, banning does not havy big sense. It would be great to have button in administration to purge all entries in those lists. Or mabe better to purge all antries according to current filter, so I can filter just Login failures and delete all those entries in one click, so I do not need to handle SQL directly.

Thanks for consideration of this,

best regards

Pavel

Hello Pavel,

the feature you mention is already included inside Admin Tools.
Please take a look at this page, under Maximum security exceptions log entries

Hi,

thanks for reply, however this is bit different functionality. I do not want to delete logs automatically, I prefer to delete for example all Login failure logs at once manually. So all other exception (like SQL injections) will remain, so I still can check it out...

If you want to do that, the only solution is to manually delete them from the database or, if you have some spare time, delete them using Joomla interface in batches of 100 items.
