Hello.
In your docs about Admin Tools / Site IP Blacklist you describe:
"An implied IP range, e.g. 192.168.1. for all IPs between 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.1.255, or 192.168. for all IPs between 192.168.0.1 through 192.168.255.255.".

I set an IP as decribed "192.168.1." into the blacklist but I still get security exceptions from (for example) the IP 192.168.1.20.

How can I set an IP Range from *.1 - *.255 as described to my blacklist?

Best regards

Martin

Hello,

can you please try to use this address (CIDR notation): 192.168.1.0/24
Does it work?

Hello Davide,

looks like it works.

Thank you.

Another Question:
For 2 times now I get multiple E-Mail notifications for automatic IP blockings.
But these IP blockings are not listed in the auto IP blocking history tab.

Any ideas why this happens?
If an IP gets automatic blocked, I should get only 1 notification.

This usually happens when the attacker is sending out several requests all at once.
Since your server handles them in parallel, when Admin Tools checks if that IP is blocked, such data isn't yet in the database, so you receive the notification multiple times.
However you shouldn't worry, since the requests have been blocked and the IP is banned.

Ok, thank you.

Could you please delete the attached file from my last reply?
I forgot to hide customer data and I didn´t figure out how to delete an attached file by myself.
