#26976 Not Receiving Admin Successful Login Emails

 We have two sites with Joomla and both have the same Joomla and Admin Tools version listed above. Our production site uses PHP version 5.6.28 and our development site uses 5.6.26. Otherwise they are configured exactly the same.

Anyway, in our development site I receive emails when an admin successfully logs in. However, in our production site I never get these emails. I have gone through the configurations side-by-side and they appear to be completely the same. I successfully get all of the other emails from our production site including daily Akeeba Backup notifications.

Where can I look to find logs or some other information about why they fail? Any suggestions?

Michael,

I had a perfectly good answer for you until you got to the part where Backup was sending emails. :-(

Let's try exporting the Admin Tools settings from your dev site and importing them into your production site. That's a little surer than looking at the settings. The import and export functions are under Tools on the Control Panel.

Thanks Dale, that appears to have fixed the problem!

I didn't even know that feature was there to export a configuration and import it to a different site.
