Before migrating (ie when on my test server) I had admin tools configured so that if you tried to go to 'mydomain/administrator' you would be prompted by admin tools for an additional username and password, which when entered correctly would then take you to the joomla login screen.
This was all working correctly on my test server.
I have now migrated my website onto its live server (and a different domain of course). The front end is working without any problems. However, when I go to mylivedomain/administrator, get prompted by admin tools to enter my additional username and password (which I know are correct), I am just then redirected back and asked by admin tools for the user and password again, like it is stuck in a continuous loop.
Like I say I know the user and password I am entering is correct. I cannot turn off admin tools or reconfigure it because of course I cannot login to the back end to do it.
Please can you advise what the issue is, and how I can fix this? Is there a file I can access via ftp that I can temporarily disable to let me into joomla etc?
If you need any more information from me please let me know.
Thanks for your help,
Keith
