 cloudaccess.net is the host

I Put in admin tools and got locked out after a day tried to get back in. I did all the file renaming and got around the 500 error on the back end but can not get the front end to display. I have not found anything that refers to this type of problem on the front only. I have deleated .htaccess on the server but do not know if or where one is that controls just front end. Would it be in template folder

Thank in advance

Renaming main.php and the .htaccess file will disable Admin Tools completely. It can't be causing the problem.

You are not specific about what is happening with your front end. Generally it won't work without an .htaccess file of some sort. It may display the home page but none of the links will work. Please try renaming htaccess.txt to .htaccess. Does that solve the problem? The htaccess.txt file is Joomla!'s standard .htaccess file.

I had the ability to log into the back end and everything worked. The front end showed a 500 error. Now it looks like there may be a server error so checking with hosting company. So now checking with hosting company. Will post the results. Thanks for the fast response

The whole site when down and went back to the webhosting company. The found an error with virtumart that was blocking it from loading It was virtumart the file name is router.php and the error was on line 646 so I am restoring from back up and will see if an upgrade caused the problem that I did after admin tools was installed or if it happens again. Thanks for the help and please close the ticket
