I have activated password protection via admin tools on a couple of sites (on the same server).
It has placed the two files:
.htaccess and
.htpasswd
in the directory as expected, however I am not being asked for login credentials when I access the site.
This happens on the same server.

On another server it is fine and works as expected.

What should I bee looking at on the server to resolve this?

Thanks

Hello,

not every server has support for the password protection feature. You should contact your host and ask him if such feature is supported by your server.
