Hi, i updated my site last month, and havn't logged in since. I went to update again this month, but have an error when i try to login to my admin page Error decoding JSON data: Syntax error

http://dianacarrlawyer.com/administrator/?carrlawyer
is the login path, as i've set it up through akeeba admin tools. i get same error http://dianacarrlawyer.com/administrator on this page.

I can't login to determine what the joomla/php/admin tools versions are. i do think i updated joomla, and admin tools at the time i did other updates

That is not a normal error, I'm not sure that it is coming from Admin Tools. First, let's disable Admin Tools with the instructions here: https://www.akeebabackup.com/documentation/troubleshooter/atwafissues.html and see if that lets us log in.

i've renamed that main-disable.php file and still getting same error

Renaming that main.php file completely disables the Web Application Firewall and any GeoIP restrictions you may have set up. The only way Admin Tools can still be active is if main.php is cached. Clear your browser cache and wait a bit for any other caches to expire.

If you have made an .htaccess file with .htaccess Maker, it would still be active but this doesn't look like .htaccess. You can rename your .htaccess file and replace it with the Joomla! standard file, htaccess.txt to be sure.

I don't think it is coming from Admin Tools. I'll ask Nicholas and Davide to look at the JSON error to be sure. They are both gone for the day, they will be back in the morning.
