 Hi Akeeba

Suddenly I am having difficulty uploading images to my blog.
I use this component here:
http://stackideas.com/easyblog
I suspect that Akeeba Admin Tools plays a role?
Maybe I am way off here.
But reading page 80 of the documentation, I find references to “WAF Exceptions”

I suspect that I have to add some details in the three fields listed here, like:

com_easyblog

I could be way off.
If so please point me in the right direction if possible.

Or I might be on the right track.
If so please help me move forward so that i can upload images to my Blog.

thanks

Paul

Hello Paul,

please disable Admin Tools system plugin and replace your current .htaccess file with Joomla stock one.
Do you still have the same issue?

Hi Davide

Am I correct in thinking that I do this:

a) Rename my .htaccess file as e.g. htaccess-Back-Up
b)Rename my htaccess.txt file to .htaccess
c)Using FTP, go inside the plugins/system/admintools/admintools directory on my site.
Rename it to main-disable.php
If a is incorect where can I find a clean .htaccess file?

thanks

Paul

Yes, those are the correct steps.
For your information, you can get the original .htaccess file from any Joomla package, it's the htaccess.txt file (you'll have to rename it to .htaccess)

I did as outlined above and nothing changed.
I am still unable to upload images to my Blog component.

I left the .htaccess file that I got from the Joomla instilation in the public html folder and named it htaccess-virgin
i.e. the Admin Tools .htaccess file sholuld be active again.

I also renamed main-disable.php back to main.php

So that Admin Tools works again

Please advise

Paul

By replacing the .htaccess with the original one and disabling Admin Tools system plugin, you basically disabled all the features of Admin Tools.

If you still have the same issue, it means that is not related to Admin Tools, so you should ask support to EasyBlog developers.
