Hi,

When we enter an email address into the field: (WAF - Logging And Reporting) Email this address on successful back-end login
We get an error: An error has occurred - 0 invalid address - Return to Control Panel

But to us this is the opposite. We get an error when we enter an email address.

I have this issue only on 3 of my website.
My other website don't have this issue. And I use the same configuration for Admin Tools for all my websites. I do that with the import function. So that's why I know the setting are all the same.

What is the Joomla! version on the websites where you do not get this error?

Are there any differences in the email setup in Joomla! between the ones that work and the ones that don't? For example, PHP vs. SMTP mail?

Yes there are differences!!!!!

On the website with the problems, I haven't filled in the fields: From email and From name
So I did a test, and I filled in these fields and after that the problem is solved.

;-)

But if I don't fill in these fields I get this error with error reporting on maximum:

At the Joomla! Debug Console I see this:

But when I remove the emailadres from admintools I stil see this database duplicate issue.
But no more errors like above.

I am pretty sure this is the email bug in Joomla! 3.5.1. It was supposed to be fixed right away with a 3.5.2 release, but then they decided there would not be a 3.5.2 release, it would wait for 3.6. I do not know when 3.6 might be released.
