 Hi friend,
i want to ask you about a weird behavior.

i have some images in folder cache/jw_sig (it puts them there as thumbnails a plugin Simple Image Gallery).
The thing is that i cannot access them. i dont see them in my articles (i get error 403 on console) and even if i hit them manual (www.mysite.gr/cache/jw_sig/imagename.jpg) i get an error:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /cache/jw_sig/jw_sig_cache_8e6a721862_screen2.jpg on this server.

One workaround was in htaccess maker to put the route cache/jq_sig in Front-end directories where file type exceptions are allowed, but i am worried of security flaws then...

should i worry? is there another solution?

Thanks in Advance

Hello Nikos,

you have to add such folder to the Htaccess Maker exceptions.
You are right, this is not the proper location for images, since the cache folder is intended for server cache, not for images and assets files. Sadly, several developers still put everything inside it :(
Adding the exception will do the trick.
