I recently used the workaround described on:
https://www.akeebabackup.com/documentation/troubleshooter/atwafissues.html

and was successful *-)

This week I am on the road and am unable to access the administrator section of my website. However this time, renaming main.php to main-disable.php is not working.

My next step was to go into the database, searched for my current IP address and deleted all instances of it where it was being blocked.

After that I am able to access the login form and submit my userName/pwd, however I am always redirected to my home page URL.

Please direct me to the documentation that will help me to correct this issue.

Hello Deborah,

I suspect your server has some kind of OP Cache: it actually caches the files on the filesystem, so even if you change them, you'll see the "old" (cached) version. You should ask your hosting to disable it, or simply wait until the cache expires (usually 30 min)
