Hello Akeeba,


Like the title says..I Cant login to Administrator side, Admin Tools keep redirecting me to the front end of my website.

It's very annoying because i just want to be able to login the administration area. I also use a vpn so very frustrating to be redirected to homepage instead of just the login area of the admin area.

Is there any way to turn off that i'm being blocked every few times im accessing my sites backend?

The most likely cause is that you set up a secret URL parameter with the first run wizard and you are not using it now. You can disable the Web Application Firewall with the instructions here: https://www.akeebabackup.com/documentation/troubleshooter/atwafissues.html.

Yes removing the secret URL parameter worked, but i keep getting these mails everytime i login to my admin area:

Where can i turn these notification mails off??

In Web Application Firewall, Configure WAF, on the Logging and Reporting tab, remove your email address from the "Email this address on security exceptions" field.

Oops..that was quite easy... sorry.. Must have overlooked it!
