Hi Nicolas,

I have 1 question & 1 comment...

Question:
Can you please add the source domain to the email when sending an Security exception email?
Now I get messages from Security exception on 'Website Title'.

I have the same website on a local server, a live server and a testing server.

It would be so great if the url/domain somehow come with the subject or body! :-)

Comment:
The mail also says: Powered by Akeeba AdminTools which links to: http://products/admin-tools.html

Hello,

while sending the email, we are using your Joomla Configuration settings, please double check your site name and the field "mail from".

Regarding the broken link, sadly we had to remove the backlink to our products since misconfigured instances of Spam Assassin were detecting our emails as spam. To avoid any issues with our site, in the last version we are automatically remove our domain from the emails being sent.

Aha, thank you.

But still, could you by default put the domainname in the body of the email?

The name of the site is inside the Title, by default, so you can filter your emails.
If you want to add it to the body, you can change the email template.

I know that the name of the site is inside the Title, by default. That's why I asked for the domainname as well :-)

Since I (and probably many other users ) have the exact same site at multiple different locations. (localhost, test domain, and live domain) it would be great to have the domainname or url in the mail body or subject by default. Because the mail by default does not tell you on which location this exception occurred.

I can of course manually change the mail accounts for each site, but that would be unnecessary if somehow the domain/url is automatically send with the mail. That's my point. :-)

You can always very simply edit the email template. It's editable for a reason ;)

That said, it's a very good idea to use unique titles for your sites. Otherwise you're really pushing your luck with duplicate content detection algorithms in search engines.

I don't have multiple sites being indexed. It's just one live site.

The other two are dev locations. One is currently being tested on it's security. The other is on my dev location.

I just don't understand why you cannot copy the domainname/url in the mail by default.
Sounds logical to me, a security notice on an url instead of a security notice on 'a name'.

There already is the domain: it should be the mail sender.
As you can see this is a very edge case and you can easily fix it by manually adding your domain in just 3 email templates; therefore this is feature request is rejected and this ticket is closed.

Fell free to open a new ticket if you need further assistance.
