 Hello,

after I installed the Admin Tools, a CronJob to start a queue process in acymailing don't work correctly.

The error-mail is

Name: AcyMailng Newsletter URL: http://www.oakmountain.de/index.php?ctrl=cron&option=com_acymailing Ergebnis:
An Error Occurred

403 Forbidden

Do you have an idea were the fault is.

dlb
There should be an entry in your Security Exceptions Log that tells us why the file was blocked. Please paste the log entry here and we'll figure out how to tell Admin Tools to allow it.

Hello,

there is no entry in the Security Exception Log to this issue.

dlb
Are you blocking any countries with the GeoIP block?

If you rename your current .htaccess file and then rename htaccess.txt (Joomla!'s default .htaccess file) to .htaccess, does your CRON job work? I really don't think that .htaccess is blocking it, but we're running low on usual suspects.

No, I don't block any countries.

If I use the original joomla .htaccess the cron job works.

dlb
Do you have access to the server error log? That would tell us more about the 403 error, including exactly what file can not be accessed. Your CRON job is calling the main index.php file, that is why I didn't think the .htaccess file was the problem. There must be another file involved.

This is the part of the error log, because the Cron job works every full hour

[Thu Mar 17 18:01:10 2016] [error] [client 212.53.137.216] client denied by server configuration: /home/www/doc/21848/oakmountain.de/www/index.php
[Thu Mar 17 19:01:11 2016] [error] [client 212.53.137.216] client denied by server configuration: /home/www/doc/21848/oakmountain.de/www/index.php
[Thu Mar 17 20:01:08 2016] [error] [client 212.53.137.216] client denied by server configuration: /home/www/doc/21848/oakmountain.de/www/index.php

After the change of the .htaccess there ist no error

dlb
Is that from the server error log or the access log? Usually the error log will show the 403 error and exactly what file was denied. Your CRON job is calling the main index.php file, if that was denied, your whole site would be down. There has to be another file involved.

Yes, it's from the error-log.
Now I asked the hoster to look for

oakmountain
from the access_log:

212.53.137.216 - - [17/Mar/2016:19:01:11 +0100] "GET /index.php?ctrl=cron&option=com_acymailing HTTP/1.1" 403 404 "-" "libwww-perl/5.836"

dlb
There's the smoking gun!

In .htaccess Maker, under the User Agents list, libwww is one of the agents blocked. You need to remove that line from the list and regenerate your .htaccess file. That should fix it.
