 Hi,

I need to upload files for a module in Joomla!.

I get an error: 403 Forbidden - You don't have permission to access /modules/mod_jux_portfolio/elements/juximagefolder.php?juxaction=folders on this server.

I use Admin Tools and a .htaccess file.

Please advise.

Tx,
Wim

Hi,

I can solve this problem by adding a rule in the .htaccess.

Give access to all folders and files (including PHP files) on: /modules/mod_jux_portfolio/elements/

What about security? Will this be a problem?

Kind regards,
Wim

Hello Wim,

the solution you found is the correct one.
Regarding security, I can only say that in this way you won't be protected by Admin Tools. If there's a security issue in such file, Admin Tools won't be there to mitigate any threats.
You should contact the developer of such extension and tell him to follow Joomla guidelines, since every request should be addressed vs Joomla main file, the index.php one.
