This is a fresh install of Joomla 3.3.3, updated to 3.4.8.
No other components installed before of after.

As son as I open Akeeba Tools I have a warning that "Your Admin Tools installation is corrupt"

Files check shows the following

You are using Joomla!'s FTP layer in Global Configuration. Unfortunately your FTP server tries to upload certain files in ASCII (instead of Binary) mode, changing the line endings. As a result the files integrity fails. You can manually upload these files using FTP in Binary Transfer Mode to make this message go away. Please note that due to some servers' code caching it may take a while for the message to go away after doing that.
