 Hi

After installing RSSEO extension, I get an "Error URLs" list which keeps growing endlessly, always with error code 404 ( I attach a snapshot of it).

I contacted the guys of RSSEO and they replied:
"These entries are recorded when someone tries to access that specific URL/address. From what I can see many of your entries do not have a referral, this implies that the URLs were accessed directly by entering the address in the URL. You could try checking your server access logs for more information on this topic."

Is there a way to find the IPs from where these requests are originated, so I can add them to the black list of Admin Tools?

Allow me to say that the site is working flawlessly (so far).

Thanks

dlb
As I understand the problem, there is no reason why Admin Tools would have noticed or recorded the source IP addresses of these URLs.

I partially agree with the RSSEO guys, the server log is the place to find the IP addresses. I think the error log would be a better choice than the access log. You should be able to spot the 404 errors in the error log and that should give you the source IP.

Hi

I didn't imply in anyway that Admin Tools should have to do something to detect or prevent this issue.

The question targeted to find information I can use afterwards in Admin Tools

Thanks aanyway for your useful recomendations
