I like Admintools for the overall Joomla CMS management, maintenance and optimization functions. At the same time, I like a different WAF firewall product for Joomla CMS. The core WAF with Admintools conflicts with the WAF that I prefer to use.

I want to use Admintools for management, maintenance and optimization and the other brand/product for WAF. Is there a proper/acceptable way to permanently disable Admintools WAF such that it will not interfere or conflict with the WAF that I prefer to use?

Hello Dan,

you can disable the System - Admin Tools plugin and you'll turn off the whole WAF system.

If is disable System - Admin Tools, will I still be able to access Admintool functions such as checking permissions, checking the database, etc?

Yes, those tasks are performed by the component, not the plugin.
