 Hi

A website that I setup is going to be transferred to another service provider and I will not be responsible for its setup, etc anymore. Before this happens I would like to ensure that all aspects/extension of Admin Tools and Akeeba Backup have been removed correctly and without affecting site links.
Could you please advise me on the safest and most effective way to do this?

Thanks

Hello Lynne,

you can simply uninstall our products, and everything will be reverted back.
However, if you have created the .htaccess file using Htaccess Maker inside Admin Tools, you'll have to replace such file with the default one you can find inside Joomla package (simply rename it from htaccess.txt to .htaccess).
In the same way, if you have protected your backend access with a password, you'll have to remove the .htaccess and .htpasswd files from the administrator folder.
