#24028 404 error after quick settings

 I installed Admin Tools and enter basic setting (I attached JPG) and after I Save & Close I got 404 Joomla Errror.

If I rename .htaccess than I can get into Admin area.

I also attached error.log from administrator folder.

Frontend works OK.

Please help.

Hello Toni,

this means that your server does not accept password protected folders.
You have to disable such feature and contact your hosting asking to enable password protected folders.

OK, I Whitelisted my IP ... so I guess I don't need Password protection if only I can access Administrator area... is that right?
