Since I updated to the latest admin tools pro 3.6.5 I get email messages that I have logged in.

The text goes like this:
IP address: xx.xx.xx.xx (IP Lookup)
Country*: (unknown country)
Continent*: (unknown continent)
Browser User Agent string: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; rv:42.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/42.0

* Country and continent information availability and accuracy depend on the GeoIP database installed on your site.

If this expected you need to do nothing about it. If you suspect a hacking attempt, please log in to your site's back-end immediately and activate Admin Tools' Emergency Off-Line mode at once.


How can I switch that off?

Hello Cedric,

please take a look at the field Email this address on successful back-end login inside WAF configuration page. Is there an email address saved in that field?

Hi

I removed the email address and i get no more emails.

Now WAF is blocking me out.

I tried to access mysite.xxx/administrator 3 times and it redirected me to the mysite.xxx and after 3 times I am
"You are a spammer, hacker or an otherwise bad person."

Having a firewall is cool, however when one is not even able to login at the administrator page and is being ex pulsed by his own website.
Then security has taken one step too many, don't you think? ;-)

Anyway how can I remedy this?

First of all we have to know why you got locked out, it means that you triggered a security exception.
Most likely you set up a secret param for the administrator page, since you didn't supply it, after 3 strikes you're banned.

Please manually disable the plugin, then take a look at your security exceptions log. Does it say "Admin query string"?
