 I keep getting this whenever I get notified that someone's tried to attack my site.

Reason: COM_ADMINTOOLS_EMAILTEMPLATE_REASON_IPAUTOBAN

I read in the forum that I should install a dev version but I don't want to do that because they're alphas. What I'd really like is to find a way to fix it. It appears that en-GB.com_admintools.ini isn't the one responsible.

Thanks

Apparently this language string is not translated into your site's language. Which language are you using?

Thanks for the reply.

English only. I forgot to mention that I tried reinstalling it as it was advised in the forums. Unfortunately, nothing.

Please open the file administrator/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_admintools.ini. Line 1234 should read
COM_ADMINTOOLS_EMAILTEMPLATE_REASON_IPAUTOBAN="Auto-banned IP address"

If that's not the case try deleting this file, then install Admin Tools again without uninstalling it before or in between.
