Hello,

When upgrading Admintool, I first used online upgrade and it failed with this error :
Fatal error: Call to a member function load() on a non-object in mywebsite.etc./script.admintools.php on line 355
Then I tried to upgrade from the zip archive and I got exactly the same error.

It is not the first time I upgrade Admintools with my host service, I usually had no problems...
Any idea for help ?

As a temporary fix, please double check to have the System - Admin Tools plugin enabled while performing the update. That will prevent the fatal error from showing up

Hello Davide,

Thank you for this accurate and perfect support : The system admin tools plugin was disabled. I enabled it and retried the extension upgrade and it worked perfectly.

I did not heard about this system admin tools plugin (perhaps I read too fast the docs) , what is the usual setting of this plugin : enabled or disabled ?

It should be enabled, otherwise your Joomla installation won't be protected (not enabled => not running => no additional protection)
