 I have a secret URL for accessing the Admin area.

I have recently had several logs reported where someone is typing "http://www.mywebsite.co.uk/index.php/component/users/?task=user.login"

This then gives them an error message saying that their session has expired and to log in again. Also showing are the user name and password prompts!

Any way to disable this ?

That is a front end login screen. Accessing the screen by typing the direct command has always been possible. If you are trying to block all front end logins, you would do that in Global Configuration.
