The phpinfo.php file is a PHP file. In general you don't want any PHP file except index.php to execute on your site.
You can add phpinfo.php to the "allow" list in .htaccess Maker. That will allow it to be called directly. Aside from giving up your PHP version, there isn't much danger in that.
