 Hi,

I have not yet set up admin tools yet (due to time) as last time I had problems that took long to resolve.

The site in question is being viewed by the client tomorrow. It is being viewed via IP. DNS will be pointed to site.

Problem is that new articles and news is not updating on the front end. Articles uploaded more than 24 hours ago are not showing.

All cache systems are disabled.

I need help setting up .htaccess to DISABLE caching on all news articles and the main home page component.

Please advise.

Thanking you
Michelle

Hello Michelle,

what you are trying to achieve is not related with Admin Tools or the .htaccess file.
If you want to disable the cache of your site, you have to disable caching inside Joomla Global Configuration and unpublish the System - Cache plugin.
If you have more question please post your question inside Joomla forum or Joomla Stack Exchange.

Hi, I have unplublished every cache I can find inside joomla.

This must then be on the server side.

Thanks

Dear Michelle,

This issue is unrelated to our software and we cannot provide any further support. If you believe there is a server-side cache please contact your host. I know that SiteGround offers three levels of server-side caching: code cache, SuperCache and CloudFlare CDN. Ask them how to disable this or any other cache set up on your site. We are not your host and we're not affiliated with them.
