if I lock out of admin area I receive an email that says to rename 'plugins/admintools/pro.php' or 'plugins/admintools/admintools/pro.php' in pro.php.bak. Well I do not those directories! I also search the file prop.pho without success but I do have the pro version. What's wrong?

the correct way to manually disable Admin Tools is described in this page of the manual.
I think that the path was hardcoded inside one of your email template, you should change it.
