I am not 100% sure that I understand your question.
The 3.4.x series of Admin Tools is compatible with both Joomla! 2.5.x and Joomla! 3.3.x. You do not need to take any action before you upgrade your site within the 2.5.x series or from 2.5.x to 3.3.x.
The as yet unreleased 3.5.x version of Admin Tools will only run on the Joomla! 3.3.x series.
The 3.4.x series of Admin Tools is compatible with both Joomla! 2.5.x and Joomla! 3.3.x. You do not need to take any action before you upgrade your site within the 2.5.x series or from 2.5.x to 3.3.x.
