#21968 PHP Version keeps resetting

When I use the htaccess maker I get an error saying I have the wrong PHP Version, I had 5.2.17

I had the hosting company change it to 5.4 and I confirmed the PHP Version in Joomla System Information.

When I again used the htaccess maker I get the same error and when I check Joomla System Information it resets to 5.2.17.

Justhost tried several things and it keeps resetting to 5.2.17 when I use the htaccess maker.

What your hosting company did to change the PHP version was put a command in your .htaccess file, probably an AddHandler. When you generate the .htaccess through .htaccess Maker, it doesn't know to include that command, so it gets lost.

You need to copy the PHP change command from your original .htaccess file and put it in the Custom .htaccess rules section in .htaccess Maker. It isn't important if it is bottom or top. Then regenerate your .htaccess file and your PHP version will be maintained.
