After the latest Admin Tools update it has started interfering with new event creation on frontend. The site uses the latest version on JEvents with many of it's addons. We've not made any changes on the site, only updated Joomla and it's components for the past year. It does not seem to matter what rights the user has, even admin users get blocked when they try to submit an event. The blocking message is "Käyttöoikeus kielletty This request is blocked by Admin Tools. Please change this message in the component's options." Log tells me this is about XSSShield which has been on all the time. But now it is giving trouble. Has something changed in the recent update?

yes, as far as I remember, there was a bug in XSS Shield, so it was not working properly.
You can create aWAF exception for JEvent in order to exclude Admin Tools checks.
