Hi! We want to start updating websites of our clients from J2.5 to J3.6. When we have the latest version of J2.5 (27) installed, and also the latest versions of Akeeba Backup Pro and Admin Tools Pro, will both Akeeba tools work OK after this Joomla upgrade?

Should we disable the Akeeba extensions before upgrading and then enable them again after the upgrade?

Are there things we should be aware of regarding this upgrade? Any tips to prevent problems are very welcome... And yes, backup first ;-).

Kind regards,
Jip.

As long as you're using the latest versions you will have no problem from our software after the upgrade :)

OK, sound nice ;-) Is it wise to disable the Akeeba Extension before updating or is that not necessary?

No, it's not necessary disabling the extension, but it won't do any harm either.
