After updating to 3.3.1, admin tools shows me to update to 3.3.1, I have reloaded the update information, no change...

The code which fetches the update information and produces the notifications for new versions is inside Joomla! itself. We can only ask Joomla! if there is an update available, if so which version, and show you what Joomla! tells us. Unfortunately Joomla! code is not under our control. Please file a bug report to Joomla! itself and pray that someone fixes it. I have already sent a patch to let you reset the updates when Joomla! Update gets stuck for any reason.The bad news is that it will only be available in Joomla! 3.4 which was supposed to be released a month ago. On Joomla! 2.5 you will have to put up with false or missing update notifications, apparently...

Ok, np, I'll live with it, while I try to find a way to get the site converted to 3.x somehow.
No luck yet, and everything is uninstalled on the test, sigh, oh well, that's a whole other matter :-)
