1. The hostgator backps were huge over 400gb
HG deleted them and reset the backups.
the now still huge but smaller over 200gb most of this is media files .
I ran Akeeba backups without media files and it is just over 1gb.
After they deleted them the emails stopped connecting
2. The emails were not connecting to the database
They fixed that didnt tell us how.
Now we have a third issue
3. We are using Amember and no one can sign in or register to purchase any products now.
They either get a "The database has encountered an error...." message.
or
"An Error has occured
The database has encountered a problem, please try again later.
4. Today they get this when trying to sign in
"Authentication problem, please contact website administator"
Here is what our hostgator technical support found below.
That particular table is still there, it's just that the site's code is not querying it properly. You'll need to put in a ticket with aMember and provide them the trace output that I included in my last reply.
Here's the relevant portion of the stack trace from the PHP process while logging in:

Here is Amembers reply to that
From: <[email protected]>
Hi,
" mysql can't find file (errno 2)" is not an Amember issue.
Please ask hosting support to fix this mysql server issue.
The odd thing is when I look at the page after tring to sign in it shows me as logged in and I can go and edit settings and save them.
The error almost looks erroneous.
However of course I cant use it this way and neither can my clients.
Ok finally my question related to your product.
Could Admin tools eithr the repair database tool or the repair permissions tool fix or assist me with this issue?
We are stuck any assistance would be appreciated
Thank you,
Derek
