Hi, I have run into a strange behaviour when upgrading to the latest version of AdminTools via Extension installer: my virus programm (Avira Antivirus) alerts me with "HTML/Infected.WebPage.Gen2" of a malicious file found in the browser's chache folder (AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Cache\f_016c8d'). As you can see, I am using chrome. The alert happens when the success message after installation appears (on the page /administrator/index.php?option=com_installer&view=install)

It happened 3 times now on different pages when I am upgrading to this version of AdminTools, so I wanted to let you know... when I scanned the ZIP, nothing was found, and when I install other things via installer (for example akeeba backup), the success page does not cause the same error. I think it's a false alert, but I still recommend you to check it as your component should increase security and you probably don't want people to be scared of it...

Best regards,
Terry

Thank you for the report. This is a known issue. Admin Tools contains virus signatures that are used to detect viruses in the file scanner. That s what your anti-virus program is finding. It is a known false positive, you can safely ignore it.

Ok thank you - if you like, you can make this post public, I just didn't want to make a big fuzz in public, thinking that you probably are in control ;-)
