I have been getting double updates for Admin Tools. Not knowing why, I just went ahead and did them. They seemed to work. But today, although the update seemed to work to version 3.1.1, it continues to indicate that an update is available - which it claims to be version 3.1.1. Strange goings on! I ran the update several times, same result.

The Joomla! Extension Installer caches the update information. It doesn't update the cached information when you install the update. You can go to the Admin Tools Control Panel and press the Reload Update Information button on the right side. That will force a refresh of the update information and should fix the problem.
