I have installed Admin Tools and secured my site with WAF and your htaccess creator. Lovely tools. I am having a problem working with a subdomain that I have created after setting everything else up.

I am using this subdomain to install a SugarCRM instance. I have noticed that, with the htaccess file in place on the main root, I have many execution issues. If I re-write to htaccess.bak they go away.

Obviously I purchased your product to provide me with your expertise in htaccess (brilliant) so I am a little out of my depth on this. I was wondering whether there was an exception I could put in place through your htaccess maker that would exclude that directory therefore allowing me to place a SugarCRM specific htaccess file in that folder.

For example:

public_html is my joomla install and

public_html/xyz is my CRM install

What would be the correct instance to stop your htaccess having any effect on this folder/install.

Thank you

Hello Justin,

you have to exclude your SugarCRM directory inside the Htaccess Maker, you can find more info in the page, section Allow direct access, including .php files, to these directories

Molte Grazie

I am out of time to work on this today but will feedback when done and close this ticket if successful. I did look through the documentation but I think I might well have become numb by that point :)
