 hi Nicholas,

my host closed my site yesterday, because of exceeding database space. Looking in PhpmyAdmin, i found out that the files Scans from admin tools were over 300 Mo of database space, which you said was possible in the doc.

2 questions please :

1) is this possible to store the scans in a different database ? (so as when it's too big, my nice host doesnt close my website without warning me...)

2) Looking in the ticket #11144 – Question about the PHP-scanner , you seem to say that only 4 to 6 pages in the first scan should show suspicious files. in my case, ALL files were suspicious non-0. And the first ones, scoring 13000, had a trojan actually. So, one, big thank for this wonderful software !!! and two, should i examine each of my 28000 suspicious files ? three, is this a reason for such database space ?

thanks one more time,
Adrien

Hello Adrien,

  1. I'm sorry but you can't do that
  2. Most likely you have triggered the option Calculate diffs when scanning. As per our docs, it could inflate your database very quickly (it stores a copy of every file in the db). I think you should examine only the files with the highest score, and if they're ok, mark them as safe
