Just to be sure...I then downloaded the most recent Akeeba GeoIP Provider Plugin from your site, then updated both my systems and ensured the plugin was published and active.
Still, the update button does not appear. Is there a reason for this or is it a bug?

Sorry I just noticed another support ticket below that said the button only appears after the GeoIP database is out of date.... Is this new ? Prior to this release the button was ALWAYS PRESENT.
