 Hi,

I currently have a single issue since 3.2.2 upgrade that might be linked to admin tools.

I dont know if started to happen after upgrade to 3.2.2, I wanted to install two factor authentication and I know you have to go to post install messages, but i get a page with:

An error has occurred.
404 Component not found
Return to Control Panel

Any help with this? I read you post on joomla forum, wondered if what you suggested might be my fiX!

Look forward to your reply,

Hello Herman,

the problem that you linked from Joomla forums is related to very old Akeeba extensions, but I see that you're using the latest major version of Admin Tools, so you should be safe.

However, from which version you were updating?

As final check, can you please login using FTP to your site and check inside the libraries/fof folder?
Are there several .php files or just a couple?

If you see only a couple of .php files, the bug you linked before is not affecting you.

if you don't have other php files, the issue you're experiencing is not caused by FOF.

To be 100% sure, disable Admin Tools system plugin and try again to visit that page: if you still have the same problem it means that something else broke.

This issue could be two things:

  1. Your db info are corrupted. That's the easiest to fix. Go to Extensions, Extensions Manager, Database and click on Fix.
  2. Some files are missing. You have to download the Joomla package locally, extract it, remove the installation folder and upload it again using FTP.
PLEASE NOTE You must use Filezilla as FTP client, otherwise you could have some weird issues with the directories, causing your site to completely break.
