 Hi,

I successfully installed admintools and akeeba backup on several sites, but I want now to organize differently the webspace for the multi domains.
Actually there is one www root folder, and each site is under www/customer/domain.
The domain name "www.domain.com" is configured to go on www/customer/domain/.

At this point, all is good.

When I change the multi domain option for www3/domain, the site is OK but it is impossible to access to the admin section.
Do I need to deactivate admintools, change anything before migrating ?

I successfully migrated other site/domain to /www2/ but before installing admintools, after installing it is OK.

Please advise :)
Manu thanks,
Pierre

Pierre,

We stopped supporting Joomla! 1.5.x when the Joomla! Project dropped support for it. This is unsupported, obsolete software with known vulnerabilities.

You are not giving me a lot to go on, but I think you have a password set up to protect your administrator folder. When you log in to the back end, you are prompted for a user and password by Apache even before you get to Joomla!'s back end login screen. That password prompt uses .htaccess and .hdpasswd files in the /administrator folder. The .htaccess file contains a fixed path to the .hdpasswd file. If you move the site, you will have to edit the .htaccess file and adjust the path or rename/delete the files and recreate them from your Admin Tools.

OMG...
As you see, when working too late, we do not think about so simple things. Sometimes we'd better go to sleep.
Before asking you, I moved again the website to original place and checked if there were not any hard link in admintools config but didn't think about .htaccess referring to .htpasswd hard link under /administrator folder.
Many thanks for the light and apologizes for the noise!

I'm OK with the old Joomla Version, but i have got a lot of old sites ont this hosting webspace, I (and the customers) don't want to upgrade for several reasons (time, cost... as you want!).

Thanks for your great job.
Regards,
Pierre

You are welcome! I'm glad that did the trick.
